REMOTE PILOTED VEHICLE

REMOTE PILOTED VEHICLE is an umbrella for a collection of artwork, memorabilia, documents, recollections and ephemera relating to the life and ideas of Richard James Lumsden, Sr. (1942-1995).

Richard Lumsden was a university educated father of two who mysteriously succumbed to a transient lifestyle of schizophrenic meanderings and dementias rife with aliens and UFO illusions.

His estate belongings included over 1400 maps and drawings executed over a ten year period, including 21 audio recordings and a hunting vest lined with copper pennies.

A segment of this work - Pulse Synchronicity:The Last 60 Seconds of a Human Life - has been featured on the CBC television program ZeD.

COMPLETE EAR APPEAL

Making use of the Muzak Corporations' well-documented research into the effects of various frequencies and pulses on the physiology and psychology of people, Complete Ear Appeal pays homage to Erik Saties' Furniture Music, John Cages' 4'33", and the ambient music ideas of Brian Eno in an elevator that travels between floors in a mid-Century modern building.

this project is available for viewing to clients only.
